The ChiaoGoo TWIST RED cables are designed to be used with all ChiaoGoo interchangeable knitting needle tips and Tunisian crochet hook tips. These cables are extremely flexible due to their unique construction of multiple steel wires, coated with red nylon. This design prevents twisting or kinking while knitting, ensuring a smooth knitting experience. To create a longer cable, two cables can easily be connected using a ChiaoGoo cable connector. The cables have a hole at the ends that fits a cable key. This key is used to firmly attach the needle point to the cable. In addition, the holes are very useful for inserting a lifeline into the knitting. This function is useful for safely removing the knitting or for easily picking up dropped stitches. The ChiaoGoo TWIST cables are available in lengths of 20 cm and are available with thread sizes MINI, Small, and Large. General Information about ChiaoGoo Interchangeable Parts ChiaoGoo's TWIST and SPIN products are designed with interchangeable thread sizes. This means they can be easily combined. The thread size is clearly visible on both the needle tips and the cables by means of a laser engraving: M = MINI for needle sizes 1.50-2.50 mm (10 and 13 cm) and 1.50-3.25 mm (8 cm) S=Small for needle sizes 2.75-5.00 mm (10 and 13 cm) and 3.50-5.00 mm (8 cm) L = Large for needle sizes 5.50-10.00 mm (10 and 13 cm) Compatibility and Extension Options Please note that the MINI-thread size is not compatible with sizes S and L. Therefore, all MINI-needle points a matching MINI-cable. Also are MINI-10cm and 13cm knitting needle points too long for use with MINI-cables of 5 cm, 13 cm or 15 cm.
